A Romantic DATE with YOU?

I was just at a restaurant this evening, when I could not help but overhear two ladies talking about another couple who seems to be on a date sitting at the table next to us.
lady 1: [talking about the guy]--Oh my gawd, I would never be caught with someone looking like that! *ewww!*
lady 2: *rolling eyes* yeah!...what was she thinking!?!...maybe, desperation! *laugh out loud*
...and the two ladies continued on blabbing not so good presumptions about the dating couple.--[*UGH*tsk! tsk!*]--why do some people just can't help but meddle into others business! It is a fact that when it comes to dating someone, we all have different types, and preferences on who we would go out with.
This made me wonder how each one of us would answer if we were to be asked the question: "Would you date yourself"?...meaning, if you are not you, would you consider going out on a date with someone like you, or would you fall in love with someone like you?--[*Looks , personality, way of thinking, habits, moods, beliefs, etc.*]-- This question somehow allows one to do some self-reflection.
Not needing ego deflation and not relating to narcissistic self-love, but I guess if you like yourself, your answer would be-- "definitely Yes"--or on the flip side, if you are one who believes that opposite attracts, then you are not your type at all then!--*teehee*

hello s'heart. i hate such people. they are those who think and believe so much in themselves.
you are right, we have different tastes. sometimes, there aren't any standard when it comes to loving someone. you just fall in love without knowing why.
