Gotcha! COUGAR Bait

One show that premiered yesterday was Cougar Town--Though I am not much of a TV buff, I enjoyed last night's pilot episode, so I will follow this show.
Not because that I can relate...*he! he!*...I may not be a young lass anymore, but I surely am NOT on the prowl! *LOL*--I just find the concept pretty interesting, as it somewhat explores the ugly side of society's double standard when an older woman goes for a younger man.
What's with the Cougar slang labeling anyway? Well, just like Courtney Cox's character on the show, It is said that in the dating scene, Cougars are attractive, successful, middle-aged women in their sexual prime, one who knows what they want and aren't afraid to go after it. A woman in her late 30's, 40's or even 50's, whose primary interest lies in hunting and bedding younger men. One who prefers to hunt than to be hunted.--[*so run! don't walk!--*LOL*--joke!*]
This made me wonder what is the male counterpart of a Cougar then? Is it D.O.M.--as in Dirty Old Man?, maybe not. Oh well then whatever!...so for those of you folks not offended by this concept, do check out the show for some laughs if you'd like. =)
On this note, I got invited to a Pajama/Sleepwear party next week. I just hope none of the older ladies come in scantily clad in their nighties or teddies, or else I may have to cover them with my comforter or kulambo! *LOL* joke! joke! joke!--[*I will post photos on my next update as a follow-up to this post if I happen to spot a Cougar on PJ's! he! he! ;)*]

I guess that in today's more liberal times, these kinds of relationships are not as shocking anymore. In either situation, if both are single and over (or are of) the age of consent and not related by blood, then I think they have the right to do as they please.
And if I were any younger and a cougar of Courtney Cox's mold showed some interest in me, I'd have no complaint whatsoever-- even if she mangled me or tore me to pieces! :)

ive heard about it skippy but i wasnt able to watch and isa pa hindi talaga ako fan ng mga ganyang concept kahit na yung mga the hills, gossip girl, etc.
im more of a book/novel fan. i prefer reading actually.
