I am a CAT Stalker ^,,^ MEOW!

Our family always had pet dogs since I was a kid. Though my personal pet then was a Chihuahua, we have always taken in lots of "askals and pusakals"--as in stray dogs and cats from all over the streets of Manila. Growing up from a family of animal lovers, and through all of my years trying to find something that I found fulfilling, it never occurred to me, as a shy and quiet girl, that I could somehow, in my own little way be a voice for animal rights and be an advocate of animal welfare.

When we were still living at the heart of Los Angeles, I have been actively participating in the trap/neuter/return program of stray/feral cats in our neighborhood. Somewhat of a cat stalking with a twist. A humane method that involves trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning feral cats.

It's been a while now since we have moved here in our new neighborhood, and rarely do I see feral cats for the opportunity to do cat stalking--until last week when I saw a white and grayish cat roaming at our patio. For days now, I am already in the process of making the cat feel secure by giving it food, water, getting comfortable with the area and my presence.--[*SCROLL DOWN for my MEOWy me photo*]
