BLINDed by Your LOVE

It is Valentine's week. Love surely is in the air!

I was watching TV when one of the featured story was about Love. It's one of those research studies that just made it to news again about how Love is Blind--that when we are already in love and/or in a committed relationship, we tend to find others (no-matter how drop-dead gorgeous they are) less attractive or not attractive at all; and so we tend to turn our eyes away from looking or getting attracted with another person, and not even being aware we are doing it because we are blinded by love.--[*twinkle eyes*]

Hmm, interesting findings--I agree that when we do not see the faults or shortcomings of our significant other, Love then truly is blind. But as for me, I must admit that being in-love does not stop me from admiring a pretty face. Let me clarify though that what am I saying here is purely just about the notion of an innocent attraction to others--their beautiful eyes, nose, hair, voice, someone who smells good, clean or a good dresser, talks well and so on.

I openly admire others even when I am with My Love and vice-versa. We know our limits and what matters most is that our hearts ONLY SEE each others.--[*ows, really--or may be I am are just afraid to get knocked out of my head, or get poked in the eyes and be blinded for real? *LOL* joke! joke!*]

Let me assure you this though, that my eyes may wander to the beauty of others, but My Heart will always find its home with you!--[*NAKS! GPS baby! har! har! LOL*]

And what my heart has heard, well it takes my breath away..

Yeah, Love months --whoah---Heart's Celebrations of the year--; it's true sometimes love is blind to the point of foolishness--however, no one can stop people when love strikes!

That's an interesting thought. I suppose that's how we are, when we love who we have, no one else is interesting to us. It's quite sweet.
