I was running some errands this afternoon for our family get together tomorrow when I got several text messages from Dom Lawrence that he is already on his way to Indiana for the start of his Priesthood schooling.  For those of you folks who may not know Dom--He is a Benedictine Monk from New Mexico that I have met through blogsphere some 2 years back.  As shy and private as I am, he is the only one so far that I have met in person in my circle of online friends.

We have been in constant contact since then--but it was our second meeting when I finally warmed-up to him.  I was so humbled when he said that he could sense that I am such a trustworthy, loving person and that I will always be a dearest one to him--One who will forever be a part of his life.

Dom is such a jolly talker--but in the middle of our conversation, he paused with a serious face and he then said one thing that I find so heartfelt and that I will never forget --"Becca, ingatan mo ang buhay mo dahil napaka-halaga mo sa akin"--and that he is so thankful that our paths have crossed.  Dom not only became a very dear friend of mine, but also an inspiration--I may not be able to serve God like him; but I surely will try, and am trying in my own way.

To you my dear Dom Lawrence--my Brother in Christ:  My love, support and prayers for your continued journey with God.  Next time we meet, you may be already a Priest by then so I can already confess to you *LOL*
