Ah, what a week it has been! I was sick like a dog but now am feeling so much better. For a change, I got out of bed around 2:00 p.m. and then went out to buy Angel Hair Capellini and Thai Ice Tea for my late lunch. Pasadena is like my second home since we hang-out there most of the time--this afternoon while having a dose of caffeine with the family at my fave cafe, a guy approached us and said "Hi, you are here again"! (REWIND: this is the same guy who we already saw a week prior and approached me also then when he heard that I was talking in Tagalog. He though at first I was not Filipina, he excitedly shook my hand and said that he is also Pinoy visiting from New York and he then went on his merry way.
He talked to us a bit longer this time around--he asked if we always spend our free time there, and do we plan to visit New York any time soon? He then went on to say that by us spending our time on afternoon walks and just hanging around relaxing is what's life is really about...just like him, being 48 and all, he makes it a point to enjoy life and just be happy.
I somehow find a blessing in this nameless stranger especially when he directly said that by me being young and all should enjoy my life even more. It is indeed true that amidst all the craziness in this world, Life after all is Good!...so, to you, whoever you are, thank you for the kind words and maybe, just maybe, our paths may come across again for the third time around--you just never know...=)
As much as I look forward to a much un-eventful week ahead, this week actually starts a hectic May for us beginning with a family gathering on Saturday; but then again, I am not complaining here -- I am just thankful that I am not that sick anymore so I plan to fully have fun and enjoy the upcoming events.

Nakakatuwa naman yang kwento mo, sis. The unexpected things that happen to us, like you meeting that guy again for the 2nd time, these things bring us joy much more than we expect it to be...

oo nga sis eh, so next time kapag nakita ko sya ulit baka invite ko na sya for lunch dahil meant to be siguro na maging friends kami di bah =)
adik ako sa pinipig polvoron ng goldilocks...pero mas fave ko pa rin yung HOP.

he! he! oo nga noh, kaya lang hindi ko naman gusto lahat nung e-ni-smuggle nya eh dahil wala nga nung HOP chocolate covered polovoron...eh wala pa namang mabili pa noon dito....he! he! palpak na smuggler...mali ang goods LOL!

i honor you for also spending time with that person. coz sometimes all we thought is that we gained something from them (through his words) and sometimes not knowing that he also gained a friend (that's you).

...medyo busy ang skul life ko, it would be my last saturday at skul this coming May 17, and it would our final exam, at last ate graduate na ako! yipeeee im still here sneaking around sometimes ngaun lng tlga nagka oras makapag iwan ng message e... :)
