I am undeniably a romanticist, a dreamer, an idealist, and I tell myself sometimes that I should stop. I am in love with love; a constant feeling in my heart. I've come to realize that in all honesty, I don't think I'll ever really stop loving--as Love is such a beautiful thing-[con'td...]

Guilty or Not Guilty. . .

jurydutyus7.jpgArgh! the situation I am dealing with a certain person is so emotionally draining...so as much as possible I just want to take a little break from things; but now I got Summoned for Jury Duty.  It is not that I do not want to serve as I have already done twice before...I am just not up to it this time.  I am not in the mood to socialize nor do much thinking about cases or whatnot...

Well anyway, I will not bellyache anymore...I will just pretend that everything is ok, deal with it and move on. . .

Wow, Jury duty. How do you asked for that anyway?

PS. Adorable kitty :)

@ CJ

Hello CJ *waves*...you do not ask for it, you get chosen randomly....

Here's more info on how we get selected:

Your name was chosen at random from lists obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Revenue Services, Department of Labor and the Registrars of Voters for the state’s 169 towns.

Names are randomly chosen every year. Every year your name has an equal chance of being selected and you could receive a jury summons every year. Only persons aged 70 or older who choose not to serve and disabled individuals who have provided a letter from a licensed physician indicating that they are permanently unable to serve jury duty may be permanently disqualified. There are no other permanent records of disqualification or hardship excuses granted, so you must ask to be disqualified each time you receive a summons.

Btw, thank you for your kind words about my For the Love of Animals site.

Take care CJ...I hope that everything turns out well for you especially with your Grandfather...will include him in my prayers. Thanks for visiting again.

Jury duty twice? Man that sucks! So sorry! As far as the energy drainer...My rule of thumb is that if it's a toxic relationship do what you can to keep yourself in a healthy one. So if that means distance from someone who isn't.....than you're much better off!

I do hope everything will be okay with you soon, sis.
Heard about jury duty and I know that you can do nothing but attend, tama ba?

Take care always, my sis :)

Hello *waves* well, I find the selection process tiring where potential Jurors will be questioned by each of the lawyers and the Judge... and if they think that you are not a good fit for case (conflict of interest or bias) they will then send to to another courtroom w/a different case and the same process goes again all day until you get selected to a panel.

Thanks for visiting :)

and

thanks again everyone for your kind words...
