Heartbeats - BLOG

I know that I'm too much of a romantic, a dreamer, an idealist, and I tell myself sometimes that I should stop. I am in love with love; a constant feeling in my heart. I've come to realize that in all honesty, I don't think I'll ever really stop loving--as Love is such a beautiful thing!-[ more ]

Loving You is on MY LIST

While most folks have already started their day for the July 4th long weekend get-away, I spent my afternoon on a trip to the doctor's office for my follow-up appointment. On my way to the facility, I then noticed a parked bus with what seems to be a painted list of things to do before dying. Hmm, curious George moment that compelled me to walk closer and take a photo of the bus, but then saw a group of guys filming. As I do not want to disrupt them, I just noted down their website "The Buried Life.com"--to check out further online what I first thought was just a movie in production.--[*see photo below*]

After looking through their website, in a nutshell, the Buried Life is about:

One Question--Four regular guys on a mission to complete a list of "100 things to do before you die", and to help and encourage others to go after their own lists

Such a cool and interesting concept so I find myself also thinking of what would I like to do before I die, and to start a list of my own.

Here's mine for now--some mundane, some might even be impossible to happen--but then again, Life is full of possibilities, so I will just follow my skippyheart, for I do believe that somehow, somewhere, someday that I will find the complete realization of this list. [*Note: I already fulfilled the strike out ones on the list*]

  1. Volunteer full-time: Work for Love!
  2. Go to Italy to meet the Pope
  3. Bathe in the rain
  4. Have a church built
  5. Condo living again
  6. Learn to bicycle
  7. Learn another language
  8. Start my own business
  9. Have an animal shelter built
  10. Dance in front of an audience
  11. Have a tattoo
  12. Sing my heart out!
  13. Parallel park easily he! he!
  14. Learn to play the piano again
  15. Make a music video
  16. Drive my dream car
  17. Compose a love song for a stranger
  18. Adopt a cat
  19. Join a church choir
  20. Love deeply!

These are all I could think of for now, and I know that it might still change along the way until I knock on Heaven's Door--he! he! maybe?--[*hopefully tanggapin ako doon ni Lord*teehee*]

I will just continue and update this list at the Message Board.

Loving you completes my list! ~ sh

DEATH come in THREES

Though I'm not really that superstitious, the "Death come in threes" rings true often that I find it freaky because of the happenings just off the news today. As they say, if one famous person dies, two more will follow--With the recent passing of Ed McMahon, then Farrah Fawcett just this morning, and now the sudden death of Michael Jackson.--[*hmm, may be true or just another old wives tale, but still kind of strange huh!*]

As I remember, I knew Ed McMahon as the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstake's spokesperson--[*ugh, hindi naman ako nanalo ei he! he!*]--more than from the Tonight Show, and Farrah Fawcett from the iconic TV show Charlie's Angels.

But as far as Michael Jackson, though I am not really a fan, I somewhat equate him with my childhood years. When I was still back home and in school, I was such a tomboy back then, so at one of our school's event, I performed as him, with the complete look, glittery gloves and all--singing "Billy Jean". I got good feedbacks except for being told that "ang medyo off lang ay dahil maputi ako to be Michael Jackson"--[*he! he! who would have thought na magi-ging maputi din pala sya talaga*]--oh well, that was one of my fond childhood memories, so I feel quite sad when I heard of him passing away this afternoon.

May they all Rest in Peace!

I am glad hindi pa ako kinu-kuha ni Lord, siguro dahil hindi ako famous he! he! Thank you po!~ sh

THE Reel and Real PROPOSAL

Yee-haw! As a follow-up to my Two Hearts as One post and as planned, I went to see "The Proposal"--a romantic comedy movie starring Sandra Bullock who plays the main character as Margaret Tate, the mean boss of Ryan Reynolds who plays Andrew Paxton, as her dedicated and hardworking assistant.

Though Sandra is much older than Ryan in real life, the May/December Romance was not an aspect in this movie, and the chemistry between them both was great. They both showed some skin, more so Sandra, off her power suit and Christian Louboutin shoes--[*which I so like! he! he!*]--I must say she looks really good for her age. And, I also could not help but laugh and giggle with the rest of the audience for the most of the movie's entirety. Definitely worth my $11.75--[*sana lang po ay walang may H1N1 sa mga kasama ko na nanood din, ng hindi na ako lalo pa mag-kasakit he! he!*pero ok lang, enjoy naman eh...UGH! just shows na naman ang pag-ka loveholic ko!*sheesh!*]--[*SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOS*]

I'd been looking forward to watching this movie since seeing the trailer, and it was everything I thought it would be--sweet and funny! I loved it!

It's official then: YOU ARE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! ;) ~ sh
